Exchange students

There are two types of exchange programs :
  • Erasmus +
  • Cooperation Agreements outside Europe

If you want to be part of an exchange program at IUT Lyon 1, please first contact the international office of your university. They are in charge of selecting exchange students and informing the International Mobility Engineering Department of IUT Lyon 1 ("Service IMI - Ingénierie Mobilité Internationale" in French).

If your application is accepted, you will receive a letter of approval which will allow you to proceed with the administrative requirements.

The exchange students can join any Bachelor's program. They will select courses either in French or in English. Please contact the international coordinator of the chosen Bachelor for the list of English taught courses.

For studies in Business, Administration, Marketing and Management, exchange students can attend the "University Degree MMIC" (Marketing and Management in an International Context). You’ll find more details right here.

International students

 
  • To apply for the 1st year of Bachelor's program ("BUT, Bachelor Universitaire Technologique" in French) - for all international applicants of non-European Union nationality

If you live in one of the countries covered by the Campus France - Studying in France scheme

You must follow the Center for Studies in France procedure ("CEF, Centre pour les Études en France" in French) for the Bachelor's file via Campus France, on the Studying in France server (dematerialized file).
Consult the Campus France website in your country of residence or contact them to find out the dates and procedures to be followed.

If you live in France of abroad in a country not covered by the Campus France - Studying in France scheme

You must apply online on the Parcoursup platform : opening around mid-January until early March. You can consult the calendar on the Parcoursup website.
 
  • To apply for the 2nd or 3rd year of Bachelor's program ("BUT, Bachelor Universitaire Technologique" in French) - for all international and French applicants

You must submit your application on the e-candidat platform. See details of IUT Lyon 1's training offer.
